Hippogriff riding lessons, first day

Alexis got her hippogriff riding outfit today, and it is a grey full body suit with a yellow ring around where a belt would be, and yellow on the gloves and boots.

The slit in the back is to help get it on, and it is a group of missed stitches spanned by a bridge of chains, then I went around, and made a slightly longer chain to go over the previous one, and it made it look really cool, but still modest.

I used sport weight yarn from I Love This Yarn, in grey and yellow. The hippogriff's harness is made from yellow worsted weight yarn, and there is a ring that goes around his neck, and then has two connections to a ring that goes under his wings. If need be, a lead rein can be attached to the neck ring.

Alexis and SilverNova, (the hippogriff) had loads of fun and will hopefully take to the sky in the next few lessons.
