I have been writing! I wanted to update everyone that I took your suggestion and put what I have.

Here is what I have:

It was Marina’s big day and she was nervous. Her fate was going to be decided today. Either she would be melded with an animal, or she would be turned into an animal that would be melded with someone else. Jamillah, the girl behind her gulped. They would be evaluated based on their scores in school, their physical abilities, and their ability to think their way out of a problem.

That is incorrect.

That makes sense, I guess all electronics could access this if they could get on the internet.
